We enjoyed a beautiful night for the Candlelight Ski, Snowshoe, and Hike event on February 7th. The mild weather and good trail conditions made it an enjoyable evening. We’re thankful to have enough snow for skiers this year. A big thank you to all of the volunteers who helped manage the trails and place luminaries.

Trail Conditions
The snowshoe trail was in good condition for hiking; snowshoes were not required or needed.
The ski trail was not set with a classic track, but it remained open for both classic and skate skiing. Snow cover was thin in places, with a few small bare spots along the trail. There was one notably icy section just after the first downhill. This area was clearly marked during the event, and volunteers worked to improve conditions by packing snow over the ice ahead of time.
