Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the mission of the Friends of Blue Mound State Park. We’re looking for a couple of volunteers to help with one of our prairie restoration projects.
It will be cool and good conditions for cutting and treating brush and small trees. Wear safety gear (gloves, boots etc.) and certainly eye and ear protection for everyone. Bring loppers if you have them.
Upper Walnut Prairie is the beautiful open prairie to your left on Mounds Park Road before you enter the park.
